WORM Catalogue on Bio-based solutions for humanitarian applications is now live!
Our partner Solvoz is officially launching the WORM Catalogue offering Bio-based solutions for humanitarian application. WORM partners alongside specialist networks have identified five proritised products: Personal Protective Equipment PPE, Syringes and Needles, Sharps containers, Body Bags and Temporary Water/Sludge Bladders.
This free, open-access online catalogue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of bio-based solutions for humanitarian and health applications, resulting from the WORM project. This catalogue needs inputs from manufacturers (local, regional and international) that want to contribute to the project.
WIth opening up these categories on this portal, we are inviting researchers, manufacturers, foundation, experts and the sector more broadly, to keep on contributing and expanding on these product groups to build an open-access knowledge base for biobased solutions for humanitarian responses globally.
This catalogue is an intersection of sustainability and manufacturing. Key insights include:
1️. Sustainability: A strategic tool for growth, resilience, and profitability.
2️. Transitioning from “take-make-waste” to regenerative models.
3️. The call to action: Transforming ideas into tangible initiatives
