WORM at the AidEx Conference 2025

On 11 June 2025, the WORM project will take part in the AidEx Conference in Nairobi (Kenya), an event dedicated to “Future-Proofing Humanitarian and Development Assistance”. This gathering will bring together over 500 aid and development professionals from East Africa and beyond, offering an exciting platform to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build partnerships. 

As part of the conference programme, WORM will host a dedicated workshop on “Sustainable livelihoods for informal waste pickers and innovative business models”.

This interactive session aims to highlight the crucial role of informal waste pickers in local waste management systems and explore sustainable ways to improve their livelihoods through inclusive business models.
